If you’re looking for a nice and quiet holiday home, skip this at all cost. There is a huge construction site next door which starts loud drilling at 7am! Even on weekends.
The issues for this rental started when the host insists on registration on a third party portal - outside of airbnb. The address and check in instructions could only be accessed on the portal- very confusing for guests.
Heating was disabled throughout the house despite very very cold nights. A few guests left after night 1 as the host did not fix the heating despite multiple requests.
Most concerningly was the power went out during the day on Sunday. We reached out for help and received no response. Most of the 14 guests chose to leave the house as we didn’t know when power would be back on.
Power only came back on the following day. All of food for dinner and breakfast was ruined
Best part was the host said we contacted “out of hours”.
Do not book here. Views are obstructed with the insane construction! I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb! As a host they went above and beyond, especially when helping me with my checkout situation.
Overall the house is fantastic and has amazing views of the beach, especially with clear weather!
Easy to walk to and from the beach.
Car space is relatively limited given the amount of people who can stay, so prepare accordingly.
I would also bring additional toiletries and towels if you're staying with 14 people, as well as some garbage bags! I found by the fourth day we ran out of most essentials.
During the check in process I was a little bit wary as I was provided a booking portal link as opposed to entirely through AirBNB. This did not come with any major issues, however there are some additional rules not mentioned on the AirBNB listing that you can only access once you've paid and been provided the booking link.
Checkout is also quite early (10am), so there was an additional cost of $70 (35/h) for 12pm checkout.
Lovely spot, would stay again! This is an incredible place to stay. The views are 100x better in real life. The location is amazing - less than 10min walk to the beach.
House is fully equipped to house big groups - I would 110% recommend. The house location and rooms (cleaned) were stunning! View was simply Haven! We had awesome time. Just few little things for improvement for the future like car park (driveway) needs maintenance, dishwasher need replacing, only one TV for both lounge, BBQ was old and bit dirty and Toilets do not have locks.
Overall, it's an absolutely stunning place and breathtaking view. Highly recommended this place. 5*****
