The... Lighthouse was built in 1891 and towers 34 meters above the coastline. Enjoy the amazing views from the reserve of the Lighthouse. The Bark Hut is a replica of a settlers hut from the 1860’s which was destroyed in the Ash Wednesday bushfires in 1983. There is children’s playground here also. The Allen Noble Sanctuary is an accessible wetland sanctuary in the centre of town where you can watch native birds and the Memorial Cairn marks the resting place of the early settlers, Thomas Pearse and his wife Martha Pearse.
