That deck, those views! We'll be back.
SarahandDavid - 20th August 2019We stayed at the Fairhaven house for the long weekend and are already planning a return trip. We could have eaten all our meals at the Airey's Pub or the Fairhaven SLSC, but the kitchen at the house was terrific for the big breakfast fry-up and the big BBQ was great for lunch on the deck. Those views to the lighthouse and over the water made us sad to leave! We rented the house for three couples and the space was perfect (including the table tennis table and outdoor speakers...great touches) Thanks for having us and see you again.
Perfect location, perfect house!
TheJadeFamily - 20th August 2019What an incredible week thank you! The location was perfect for us - close to the busyness of Lorne and Anglesea, but an oasis of quiet in beautiful Fairhaven. The house was immaculate and comfortable, with everything we needed. The house was great for our two families and it was terrific being able to sleep the adults in the rooms upstairs, and the kids having their rooms downstairs. The fireplace also got a workout and that giant main space leading out to the deck allowed everyone to be in the same space but being able to spread out. We will certainly be back!
Lovely home, but needs a deep clean!
david1199 - 24th October 2018We stayed two nights and were comfortable. While the bathroom and kitchen were clean, I discovered that the cleaning service only cleans the wet areas. All exhaust fans had mats of dust on them, as did the ceiling fans, and we found and had to deal with numerous spiders of varying sizes. It's a bit in the bush, off the main road in the community, a short distance down a dirt road. It's also on tank water, with a bunch of warnings reminding you that it is on tank water. I think a deep clean for removing dust and critters, cobwebs, etc. would bring it back to a 5-star home.
Lovely house
2014 - 22nd September 2014A group of 6 of us stayed at the house for the weekend and it was great. We had lots of activities so we were barely at the house, but we wish we had more time to laze around on the gorgeous balcony with views. It is clearly someone's much loved holiday home, complete with full pantry and Tupperware. It was clean, modern and very comfy. I think perhaps a map with directions from the real estate would be handy, as it isn't on google maps and there are no street lights.
