Located in close proximity to the hotel, shops and local cafes. Walk to the beach, enjoy the abundant bird life and views from the two decks. This could be your beach haven. Please note four bedrooms are located upstairs, bedroom with sofa bed is a walk through to another bedroom. The fifth bedroom is off the garage and has its own bathroom.

Great home away from home

The house was clean and walking distance to general store. The rubbish bins were nearly full but after contacting Great ocean retreats, the bins were quickly emptied. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!

The servicing non-existent

This was very disappointing. My communications with the owner had been very positive and we could see that this property had been maintained outside. Estate agent supplied incorrect key (no drama) and confusing information about bins. Yes the yellow bin was completely full but not awaiting emptying outside property. The rubbish bin in the kitchen was full of rubbish of previous tenants and all crockery and cutlery in cupboards very dirty. We spent first few hours washing. Later found out that the dishwasher was so putrid that it was in fact baking debris on the cutlery and crockery. The filters were completely full of some material that could not be guessed at but left us a bit bilious. We cleaned this but really needs wire brush and proper cleaning material to make absolutely clean. Then find there was no toilet paper available (apart from 5-10 sheets on each roll in each toilet). Luckily we had some in our car to tide us over until we could buy some at local general store. Supplying own linen is fine but bathroom mats?? Tea towels etc. The rubbish and cleanliness issues seemed completely inconsistent as property looked liked it had been reallycared for.

A lovely house in the perfect location. Hosts were very responsive and easy to get in contact with. Would recommend strongly to travelers. Great house for a large family group. Fantastic place to stay.
